This indenture made and entered into on this March 18th 1904, between Jesse
Gann of said county and state of the first part, and W.G. Gann of said county
and state of the second part. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of
the sum of $50.00 cash in hand paid, at and before the signing sealing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
the party of the first part hath and does by these presents sell alien and
convey unto the party of the second part, the following described property,
to wit: A one fourth undivided interest in and to all that 55 acres more
or less of land lying on the waters of Middle Oconee river in 1467th G M.
Dist of said county and known as the William Gann Dower land, and the part
being hereby conveyed being all my right title and interest therein, as
an heir at law of the said William Gann deceased. To have and to hold this
said property, together with all and singular the members and appurtenances
thereto belonging forever in Fee Simple: The said party of the first part
for himself, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns unto the party
of the second part, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, will
and does hereby warrant and defend the right, title and quiet and peaceable
possession of the said property and premises against the claims for the
party of the first part, his heirs executors, administrators and assigns,
or any one holding or claiming under them and against the claims of all
other persons whomsoever. In witness whereof, the said party of the first
part hereunto sets his hand and seal the day and year first above written.
