Miss Dillard Dies Sunday At Home Here
Miss Onis Elizabeth Dillard, aged 18, died Sunday night at 11 o'clock at the home of her parents on Lumpkin street. She was ill three weeks. The funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 o'clock from Bernstein Brothers chapel in their funreal (sic) home. Rev. B.P. Read, pastor of Young Harris Memorial church. Miss Dillard was a member of the Princeton Methodist church. Interment will be at Oconee cemetery. The pallbearers will be Messrs. Robert Bramblett, Lewis Bramblett, Will James, I.A. Whitehead, Emory Potts, Fred Hughes. Miss Dillard is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Dillard; a sister, Miss Annie May Dillard, four brothers, Walter, Patrick, Escott and Wesley Dillard; her grandmother, Mrs. H.C. Pollard; two aunts, Mrs. T.N. Rogers, Newberry, S.C. and Mrs. Camie Jones, Atlanta. Miss Dillard was a very popular young woman and had a large number of friends.
