Atlanta - Mrs. Hattie M. Barnett, 85, of 621 Lilla Drive, died Thursday following an extended illness. A native of Clarke County she had living in Atlanta for the past 12 years.The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. J.N. Shropshire officiating. Burial will be in Barnett's Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Survivors include four daughters; Mrs. Horace E. Tate of Atlanta, Mrs. Lillie M. Williams of Athens, Mrs. Venida Tidwell of Boston, Mass. And Mrs. Earnestine Lincoln of Silver Springs, Md., three sons, Luke Barnett of Athens, Lloyd Barnett of Dayton, Ohio and Hampton Barnett of Oakland, Calif.; a brother, Walter Jones of Compton, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Randolph of Cambridge, Mass and Mrs. Mamie Lyons of Savannah; and several other relatives. Hurley Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
