Death Takes John B. Youngblood

John B. Youngblood, resident of the Tallasee Road died at this home late yesterday morning following an illness of three days. He was 61 years old. Funeral services will be conducted at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Neese, Georgia, on Monday morning at 12 o'clock with C.H. Ellison, pastor of the Central Baptist Church here, presiding. He will be assisted by Rev. Ralph Bowles, pastor of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Bridges funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Youngblood, a native of Habersham county, had resided in on (sic) the Tallasee road for the past ten years. Before that time he lived in Madison county for a number of years. His occupation was that of farming. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and had many friends in Jackson, Madison Clarke and other counties. Pall-bearers will be William Jones, Jerome Wages, Gerald Jones, LeRoy Jones, Lamar Jones and Len Allen. Survivors are; wife, Mrs. Lillie Sisk Youngblood; daughters, Mrs. Edmond H. Wall and Miss Jessie Youngblood of Statham; sons Erastus Youngblood of Jay, Fla., O.C. Youngblood and Marvin Youngblood of Thomasto n(sic), Guy Youngblood of Sandy Springs and J.B. Youngblood of Statham; brothers, Will Youngblood and Thomas Youngblood of Summerville, and E.L. Youngblood of Berryton; 13 grand Children and one great grandchild.
