Mr. H. K. Cooper Dies Monday A.M.

Mr. Henry Kennon Cooper, aged 65, died early Monday at the home, 327 Peabody Street, after an illness of three months. He was a native of Oglethorpe county. He was well known to a large circle of friends both here and in Oglethorpe county and for a number of years was a carpenter and contractor here.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the East Athens Baptist Baptist church by Dr. J. C. Wilkinson, assisted by Rev. Mr. Tippett, pastor of the Prince Avenue Baptist church. Bernstein Bros. Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

The interment will be in Oconee Hill cemetery. The following will act as pall bearers, J.H. Peeler, P. C. Randolph, C. C. Hardy, E. L. Herring, G. A. Fields, S. R. Kirk, J. E. McLeroy and H. T. Huff.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Ella Cooper, one daughter, Miss Ina Cooper of Athens, four sons, Messrs. C. H., L. W., W. R. of Athens and G. C. Cooper, of Lithonia, three sisters, Mrs. B. R. Pickle of Atlanta, Mrs. J. T. Boswell, Maysville and Mrs. F. L. Couch, Atlanta, two brothers, Messrs W. T. of Maysville and W.M. Of Atlanta and ten grandchildren.
