Diego A. Roque, 79, or 2360 W. Broad St. Callaway Gardens Apts. N-7 died today in a local hospital, flowing a brief illness. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from St. Mary's Convent Chapel, with Father Henry C. Grace officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. A native of Santiago Dehas Vegas, Cuba, Mr. Roque had made his home in Athens for the past two years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maria C. Roque; tow daughters, Mrs. Maria Isabel Chaves and Miss Maria Elena Roque, both of Athens; two brothers, Diego L. Roque of Miami Fla. and Juan B. Roque of Costa Rica; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. The pallbearers will be Jose R. Pages, Gustavo Valdes, Diego L. Roque, Jose F. Rodriquez, Francisco M. Chaves and Jorge Munoz-Bustamante. The family will be at the residence. Bridges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
