Mrs. Mary Annie Brice Orr, 100, a long-time resident of Athens, died Friday November 14 1at Highland Hills Village. She was the eldest daughter of the late Thomas R. and Julia McClure Brice; born July 1, 1903 in Forsyth County, GA. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Fred W. Orr and their son, Charles J. Orr. Mrs. Orr moved to Athens Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Lever of Aiken SC and Freddie Tezak of Birmingham, AL, six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held in the Bridges Funeral Home Chapel at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday November 16, with the Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Visitation will start at 2:00 P.M. one hour before the service. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Prince Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund 595 Prince Avenue Athens, GA 30601. Bridges Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
