Mr. S. W. Griffith Painfully Hurt
August 18, 1905
Mr. S.W. Griffith, of Jackson county met with a painful accident yesterday while driving out Lumpkin street. His horse became frightened and commenced running at a rapid gate and was soon beyond control of Mr. Griffith.
When at the corner of Lumpkin street and Hancock avenue, the buggy was turned over, throwing Mr. Griffith out in the street, bruising him considerably, but fortunately no bones were broken.
