To any Judge, Justice of the Inferior Court, Justice of the Peace or ordained minister of the gospel you or either of you are hereby authorized to join in holy matrimony David Anderson & Elender (Eleanor) Hill if they be of lawfull age and authorized by the levitical degree and this shall be your sufficient license for so doing you are also directed to Certify on this license when the matrimony was solemnized and return the same to me that it may become a Record of this County Given under my hand this 9th day of January 1816.
