An Athens Wedding
A wedding in Athens in which ? social interst centers is that of Miss May Hodgson, the lovely young daughter of Mr. E.R. Hodgson and Mr. Frank Lipscomb, the eldest son of Mrs. M.A. Lipscomb.
The bride-elect combines the qualities of beauty and womanly charm which have made her the loved center of a large group of friends where she is known. She is the sister of Messrs. E.R. and Harry Hodgson, of Athens, and Dr. Frederick Hodgson, of Atlanta, and her sister is Mrs. Hugh Gordon, of Athens.
Mr. Lipscomb is one of the most prominent and popular young men in the state, who is successfully engaged in the insusurance business. His mother, Mrs. M.A. Lipscomb, is at present the leader of Georgia's representative women in organized effort, being the president of the Georgia Federation of Women's Clubs. She is distinguished in the literary and educational life of the south, and with her Mr. Lipscomb and his bride will make their home. Mr. Rutherford Lipscomb, of Atlanta, and Mrs. W.D. Ellis Jr., the brother and sister of the groom-elect, will attend the wedding - Atlanta Constitution.
